Most currencies can be purchased in the Deals section of the app, but there are many ways to earn them just by playing the game! Below you'll find a guide for each currency and how to use them.

Diamonds

These gems can be used as an equivalent currency for almost everything! Gift cards, premium choices, castmate gifts -- there is a diamond conversion for everything you need!

Gift Cards

These cards are used to pull new outfits from all the different brand shops! They're often given as rewards for completing daily and weekly tasks, completing stories, fan meets in the publicist's office, and your daily brand gifts in the Home screen.

Event Gift Cards

Special event gift cards are used exclusively for collecting outfits during the limited time Buenos Aires and Seoul cast trips. You can earn them through the Path To Fame and completing event stories! Note that these special cards will reset between event weeks - We highly recommend using them up before the week is over!

Pose Tickets

These tickets are exchanged for new poses. You can earn them through Hype timeline rewards and completing your weekly tasks!

Outfit & Accessory Upgrade Currencies:

Likes

Likes can be used to upgrade your outfits by adding additional accessory slots! You'll be rewarded with Likes in many places while you play, such as through certain choice moments, appearances in the Publicist's Offiice, completing daily and weekly tasks, your daily brand gifts, and the Path to Fame during events.

Cash

Use cash to add a new Tag to accessories while you're styling yourself! You can earn more cash through certain choice moment, Face Offs in the Publicist's Office, daily and weekly task rewards, daily brand gifts, and the Path to Fame!

Threads

Threads are used to instantly add another flame to an accessory. You earn them primarily through shopping rewards as you pull more outfits and raise your shopping rewards level! When you pull duplicates of outfits and accessories, this is automatically converted into progress on adding a Flame to the duplicated item.

Salon Currencies:

Salon Tokens

These tokens are used to purchase new hairstyles when you dress up and visit the salon. You can earn them as rewards from Vote My Style challenges and as you progress through the Weekly tasks!

Scissors

The scissors are for upgrading a hairstyle you already own by one flame. You'll earn them as rewards from Vote My Style challenges!

Salon Cash

Use salon cash to add a new tag to a hairstyle you own. You can earn more salon cash by competing in the Vote My Style challenges!

Relationship Currencies:

Gifts

Give your castmate a gift to instantly gain XP towards leveling up your relationship!  You can earn more gifts through your daily gifts on the Home screen, completing certain tasks, or use Diamonds to buy more.

Style Me

These tokens are used to choose an outfit for your castmate during a short scene while gaining XP towards leveling up your relationship. Sometimes you'll be given these by castmates who test you through the Vote My Style interface. You can also exchange Diamonds for them directly from the Date menu!

Keys

Giving a key to your castmate will have them appear on your Home screen for a whole month. You'll get one key for free as part of the tutorial. You can also exchange Diamonds to get more! If you want to revoke the key from a castmate, tap on them in the Date section, and tap the Key icon again to revoke their key.

Publicist's Office:

Invites

Invites are used to clear one level of your chosen Publicist’s Office activity.  During Cast Trips, your Publicist's Office activities are tied directly to your ability to progress in the limited time event. You'll start with 4 max invites, and after using all of them, they'll start replenishing over time. You can also purchase Invites with Diamonds at a rate of 2 invites for 150 diamonds and 10 invites for 750 diamonds. There is also a once-per-day offer of 10 invites for 300 diamonds!
