Depending on what you are trying to restore, your login options may be different.

Episode has two parts:

Episode Account

    • Episode Accounts save your: Story Progress, Favorites, Gems, Passes, Streaks, Purchases

    • You can connect to multiple Profiles.

    • You can log in via the manual username/password in your Settings menu, or by logging into the email/profile you have linked to your account. 

Episode Profile

    • Episode Profiles save your: Profile (Avatar, Closet, Recommendations), Create (Writer's Portal Stories), Shards
    • You can connect to one Account.
    • You can log in via Email (Google, Facebook, Apple ID

To Log in via Email (restore story progress and profile):

  1. Tap the circle button in the top left corner. 
  2. Tap "Settings"
  3. Scroll down to the "Account" section
  4. Tap "Log in"
  5. Choose Google, Facebook, or Apple ID. 
    • Note - If you use the same email for both Google and Facebook, you will need to use only one login method. It is not possible to switch to Facebook login if you original created your profile using the Google login, even if both use the same email. 
  6. Follow the on screen instructions to continue logging in.

To Log in to your story progress account manually (restore only story progress, no profile):

  1. Tap the circle button in the top left corner.
  2. Tap "Settings".
  3. Scroll down to "Restore using Username and Password"
  4. Tap "Restore From Another Device."
  5. Enter the username and password in the box that appears.
  6. Tap "Submit and Restore."
    • If you receive an error - double check your password. Passwords are case-sensitive. Password errors are frequently caused by the letters 0 (zero), O (uppercase o), l (lowercase L, and I (uppercase i).
