How to do it: Brainstorm ways that you can offer bonus experiences. Make sure those experiences are complementary to the main story, but not crucial.

Tips:

• Try invitations to exclusive chat groups, getting the Love Interest’s phone number, joining a special club or secret society, gaining VIP access or membership, etc.
• Make it clear that the rewards will carry throughout the rest of the story; otherwise, readers might assume it’s a one-off deal!
