Expanding On Good Choices:

  • “Right / wrong” choices that impact goal achievement
    • These are choices that have a right and wrong answer.  Set up some goal for the user (e.g., get into a sorority) and then have there be choices that have correct and incorrect answers that impact their ability to achieve their goal.  
    • After you make a “right/wrong” choice it should be very obvious that you made the correct or incorrect choice based on the player response.
  • Conversation responses that influence your relationship with another character
    • Are you nice or mean to someone you’re talking to;
      • this should impact how they interact with you later
  • How aggressive to be with a budding romance
    • Do you proactively text the guy / when do you text him
    • Do you respond to the boy’s text immediately or wait
    • What to wear when you see him
    • Proactively offer your number or wait for him to ask
  • Identity
    • Hobbies, career, (what energizes you)
    • Personality: introvert/extravert, how handle conflict (call people on stuff or let it go)
    • Funny, smart
    • You can make choice options that only show up if you wear a certain outfit or have a certain identity.
  • Style / what to wear
