Expanding On Good Choices:
- “Right / wrong” choices that impact goal achievement
- These are choices that have a right and wrong answer. Set up some goal for the user (e.g., get into a sorority) and then have there be choices that have correct and incorrect answers that impact their ability to achieve their goal.
- After you make a “right/wrong” choice it should be very obvious that you made the correct or incorrect choice based on the player response.
- Conversation responses that influence your relationship with another character
- Are you nice or mean to someone you’re talking to;
- this should impact how they interact with you later
- How aggressive to be with a budding romance
- Do you proactively text the guy / when do you text him
- Do you respond to the boy’s text immediately or wait
- What to wear when you see him
- Proactively offer your number or wait for him to ask
- Identity
- Hobbies, career, (what energizes you)
- Personality: introvert/extravert, how handle conflict (call people on stuff or let it go)
- Funny, smart
- You can make choice options that only show up if you wear a certain outfit or have a certain identity.
- Style / what to wear
